FSSAI Registration
Food license for manufacturers, traders, and restaurants.

Overview of FSSAI Registration
FSSAI Registration / Licence is a mandatory food safety licence issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) under the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006. Every person involved in the manufacturing, processing, storage, distribution, transportation or sale of food in India must obtain an FSSAI licence based on the scale and nature of operations. The 14-digit FSSAI number printed on food products is proof of compliance with prescribed food safety standards and builds consumer trust.

Types of FSSAI registration

State Licence
For mid-sized food businesses with turnover between Rs. 12 lakh and Rs. 20 crore — restaurants, cloud kitchens, manufacturers, distributors operating in a single state.
Central Licence
For large food businesses with turnover above Rs. 20 crore, importers, exporters, e-commerce operators and businesses operating in multiple states.
